Swift Air Delivery, Inc. was founded in 1978 to provide a complete range of air freight support services in the Central Virginia area. We are an air and expedited trucking company, providing daily line haul services between Washington Dulles (IAD), Baltimore-Washington (BWI) and Richmond (RIC) airports to Central Virginia cities. Shipments recovered at IAD, BWI, and RIC are delivered the next business day.

Swift Air interlines with most line haul truckers operating between New York and BWI, IAD and RIC.

Swift Air Delivery operates two terminals in Virginia:

• Charlottesville:   serving Charlottesville, Harrisonburg,Staunton, Lynchburg, Roanoke and points in between.
• Richmond:  serving Richmond, Hampton, Norfolk, Chesapeake and points in between. This terminal is a customs bonded container freight station.

Today we have expanded to accommodate the needs of our customers by offering a full line of intermodal services to include warehousing, movement of ocean containers and truckload service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
